Class Action

Against the City of Wilmington, Delaware

Wright, et al. v. The City of Wilmington, 1:13-cv-01966-UNA

On November 22, 2013, the Norman Law Firm filed a Civil Rights Class Action Lawsuit against the City of Wilmington on behalf of a class of Plaintiffs who were handcuffed, transported, searched, and imprisoned by officers of the Wilmington Police Department, in violation of their Constitutional Rights.  The lawsuit alleges that the City of Wilmington, through the Wilmington Police Department, has a longstanding, unlawful policy of engaging in these activities based on suspicion and not the lawfully required probable cause.

If you have been handcuffed, transported, searched, and imprisoned by officers of the Wilmington Police Department between November 23, 2011 to present, then please complete the following questions to see if you may have a claim against the City of Wilmington for the unconstitutional policies of the Wilmington Police Department.
